Brand Story
Embarking on a Vision: From Quality to Dreams
In 2002, David Gao embarked on his journey in the holiday lighting industry. As a hands-on entrepreneur, he was deeply involved in every stage of production—from material selection to the final assembly—gaining a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and the essentials of quality control. Through these early experiences, he realized an important truth: only by achieving low cost while maintaining high quality could more people truly enjoy the warmth and joy of festive celebrations.
However, as products entered the market, David Gao encountered a disheartening reality: despite their quality, many consumers still couldn’t access reliable, affordable holiday décor due to layers of intermediaries, uneven manufacturing standards, and a lack of trustworthy brands. The gap between well-made products and the families who needed them most grew wider than he expected.
This challenge sparked a new idea—one that would later define HOYECHI’s mission. David envisioned a brand that not only produced professional-grade festive lighting but also made it accessible, beautiful, and emotionally meaningful. A brand that could bring commercial-quality craftsmanship into everyday homes, enabling more families around the world to enjoy the magic of holidays without barriers.
From that moment, the dream grew from a workshop vision into a lifelong commitment:
to create holiday décor that is well-designed, affordable, and capable of turning ordinary moments into cherished memories.
